Siaya Governor James Orengo, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, and Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo (along with other leaders and supporters) have arrived in Bondo, Siaya County, for the first anniversary memorial of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Orengo joined Sifuna, Babu Owino, Faith Odhiambo and others at the gathering (at Pap Migwena Cultural and Sports Centre / Migwena Grounds). Orengo shared a video of greetings and interactions, with the group assembling to honour Raila (who died on 15 October 2025). Sifuna and Babu Owino had earlier arrived at Kisumu International Airport en route to Bondo.
Thousands of supporters are already at the venue for the commemorations (part of a multi-day programme), with dignitaries still expected
